Send4Less is a low cost mailing service for business provided by Send Marketing Solutions Ltd. Send is a well established direct marketing services company based in the West Midlands. We are a member of the industry body, the Direct Marketing Association and our processes are approved to BS ISO9001 in Quality Standards. Clients benefitting from our low cost mailings include such well known national companies such as Nationwide Autocentres and Fujifilm, but we deal with hundreds of customers through to small businesses, associations and local government organisations. As a busy mailing company we buy postage in bulk: this allows us to pass the savings on to you. There is a small standard set up charge of £35 or £45 for every job that you will easily recoup with your reduced postal costs. All we ask is that each mailing comprises at least 200 items at a time, that we provide the envelopes and also undertake the fulfillment and postal dispatch using our postal provider.

Yes. Our standard envelopes include our anonymous return-to-sender PO Box Number address. We can overprint your logo in monochrome at an additional cost, or supply plain envelopes and also print your own return address if you wish to receive any undelivered or returned post to go to you. We can return undelivered mail back to you via carrier, at a small additional cost.
Yes, you simply supply us with a suitable JPEG, GIF or similar file, and we will include it at the end of your letter and provide a proof for you to check before we start printing.
If your item exceeds 100g in weight or 5mm in thickness Royal Mail classifies it as a “Large Letter” mailing, but this is no problem as we have low cost mailing package prices for these too. Call us now on 0800 328 3251 or see the details on our large letter 49 pence mailing offer.
Send Marketing Solutions are a DMA registered company (Direct Marketing Association) and abide by its codes of practice regarding data security. We are registered under the Data Protection Act and hold many clients data on our secured system. We comply with all current legislation.
We can provide proof of posting for all our clients. Please be aware though our low cost mailings involve second class mail which is untracked and does not require signature on delivery. We have no control or influ-ence over the Royal Mail and any delivery service interruptions which may result from the weather or industrial action. We recommend all our clients place “seed addresses” in their data files. These are addresses that only you are aware of (such as your home address) so that you receive a copy of your mailing and will then be aware that it has been posted and also when other people are receiving them. Our postal providers collect our mail daily and sort it overnight, delivering it direct to every Royal Mail distribu-tion centre nationwide, daily, using their own fleet of trucks. This effectively bypasses several stages in the Royal Mail system and effectively injects the mail at the last stage of the journey – only requiring Royal Mail to deliver it locally.
We like to receive our files in Excel files, csv, tab delimited format or similar. We can handle most files. Please ensure your address data has postcodes and address lines separated into different columns. If you are unsure about it, the easiest way is to send us your file ahead of your mailing for assessment, and we will carry out a no-obligation Free Data Health check for you, which will give us time to sort out any problems before the mailing deadline.
There is no minimum number, but due to the amount of time it takes to set up a job and mail-merge we do need to have a minimum order charge of 200 items plus the set-up fee. We have no limits on the maximum qty that you can send.

No, you can send as many items as you want. There are limits on the size and weight of your mailings to be aware of: the maximum postal weight is 740g for a large letter and the maximum size is C4 for large letter mailings.
